Megan Diaz from Austin Community College will leave her role as Ascender Outreach Coordinator for a new  career opportunity working with Austin 2030 Coalition. There she will support the goal of helping Austin’s youth reach postsecondary success through community engagement as well as developing communication plans and assisting with conducting research. 

“Our goal isn’t to only get students to school, but to also ensure that they complete their education,” Diaz said.
