To help students stay motivated for the last week of the semester, also finals week, Jennifer Flowers, Hays Student Life Coordinator, Professor Anne Fletcher, and Omar Yanez, Ascender Leadership Intern, hosted a breakfast filled with a varied selection of fruits, baked goods, beverages, and tacos. Omar shared videos with everyone of Ascender events, in particular the Celebracion where everyone was treated to an amazing cultural dance, Danza Azteca, and Latinx music. He also showed a number of Ascender interviews with himself and Nestor, a fellow classmate. Advisor Vidal Almanza was also able to participate.
