Catch the Next would like to thank the Bank of America for the generous financial support we recently received which will help in our mission to increase the educational attainment of Latinos and the underserved, and close the achievement gap in Texas for thousands of students in community college and beyond.  Bank of America has continued funding for students during this time when area nonprofits are experiencing greater demand to meet the needs of low-income and vulnerable Central Texans.

Bank of America recently committed $100 million to support local communities impacted by the coronavirus pandemic. Of that, the bank is directing $1 million across 18 Central Texas organizations that are increasing medical response capacity, addressing food insecurity, increasing access to learning as a result of school closures and providing help to the area’s most vulnerable residents.

Other organizations the bank will also continue to support include its Student Leaders and Summer Jobs programs, St. Edwards, Huston-Tillotson, American Youthworks, Capital Idea, Breakthrough, College Forward, Con Mi Madre, and E3. 

Central Texas organizations receiving Bank of America emergency assistance include: Central Texas Food Bank, Ascension Seton, Dell Medical School at the University of Texas at Austin, PeopleFund, Foundation Communities, Communities in Schools, Meals on Wheels and Any Baby Can.
