CTN peer mentor, Norma Cantu, will be one of four poets participating in a poetry reading and writing workshop titled “Reflections of Life on the Borderlands” on September 7th in Laredo from 5:30 to 7:30 at the Joe A. Guerra Laredo Public Library. Participants will be able to attend the event in person or on-line.
“To live in the borderlands is a unique experience: we navigate effortlessly between two cultures and two languages. Come and listen to poetry written about the multifaceted, dynamic froterizo experience, read by Laredo celebrities.”
