Ashley Chowdhury is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Texas. She is currently employed as a Mental Health Counselor with Austin Community College at the Riverside campus location. Ashley received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Criminal Justice from Sam Houston State University. She went on to obtain her Master of Arts degree in Counseling from Dallas Theological Seminary.

With over 10 years in the mental health field, Ashley has served a variety of populations including working in community mental health with individuals diagnosed with severe mental illness. Ashley has also served as an EAP Counselor with the City of Houston and other non-profit organizations.

Ashley’s professional interests include mood disorders, anxiety, relationship stressors, self-esteem issues, and managing life transitions. Ashley particularly enjoys working with students around family of origin concerns, developing a healthy self-concept, and navigating adulthood.
