On January 24, 2024, the San Antonio College Ascender Program hosted a FAFSA Night in conjunction with Trellis Company. The information session was to provide students with an overview of the new FAFSA and to provide them a walkthrough and assistance with applying for the FAFSA. SAC had 7 faculty/staff and 15 students attend with 13 of the students completing and submitting their FAFSA that night! Some people to highlight are Marissa Pollok for planning and organizing the event, and Dr. Joan Jaimes and Cynthia Escatel for their support in the event a success, and Richard Sapp from Trellis company for providing a wonderful presentation!
